File name से पहले source देखें
किसी file का नाम L7 Lottery होना यह साबित नहीं करता कि उसे किसने बनाया या वह सुरक्षित है। Download से पहले confirm करें कि आप उसी route पर हैं जहां जाना चाहते थे और unsolicited message या copycat page से मिली file पर भरोसा न करें।
अगर संबंधित service कोई official distribution method बताती है तो उसी service की current information से route verify करें। यह independent site कोई APK binary host नहीं करती और official app distributor होने का दावा नहीं करती।
Android installation checks
Recognised app store के बाहर से software आने पर Android warning दे सकता है। Warning को पढ़े बिना bypass न करें। Installation के दौरान मांगी गई permissions review करें और expected app function से unrelated access पर सवाल करें।
सिर्फ एक package install करने के लिए device security controls permanently disable न करें। जहां practical हो operating system और security components updated रखें तथा device में पर्याप्त storage रखें।
Installation के बाद account access
पहला sign-in security-sensitive step है। Credentials डालने से पहले app context verify करें और अलग से contact करने वाले व्यक्ति को OTP न भेजें। Bank password, card PIN या remote-control access मांगा जाए तो तुरंत रुकें।
Shared phone पर देखें कि दूसरा user notifications, saved credentials या app खोल सकता है या नहीं। Device privacy password जितनी ही महत्वपूर्ण है।
Updates और uninstall
Update केवल verify किए गए source से install करें। Familiar brand name वाला unexpected update message भी phishing route हो सकता है। App uninstall करने से external account अपने-आप close हो जाए, ऐसा मानना सही नहीं है।
